Description
Robert Half Technology is seeking a Juniper Network Engineer for a cutting edge organization in Greer, SC! This will be responsible for day-to-day development and maintenance of core Juniper routing and switching systems, Juniper network performance analysis and monitoring, network planning, and trouble resolution.

Responsibilities
• Plan, manage and execute strategies for documentation, installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, evaluation, performance monitoring and upgrading network monitoring tools and hardware.
• Implement network-scripts to gather network records, monitor network performance, and network reliability.
• Design and implement network operations guidelines (QoS performance, reliability, security, network monitoring) and create and maintain all network records, drawings, and documentation.
• Translate feature requirements into software solution and perform feasibility analysis (including scale & performance) of using Juniper manufactured networking gear to implement the solution.
• Work with team on qualifying complex network designs built using Juniper routers/switches.
• Provide technical support for existing Juniper software features/applications.
• Configuring and implementing intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
• Maintaining firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and other network and system problems.
